The L293D Motor Driver Shield is expansion board based on the L293D chip. It is designed to drive up to 4 bidirectional DC motors with 8-bit speed selection. It can also drive 2 stepper motor i.e. Uni-polar or bipolar, coil or double coil, interleaved or micro stepping. At range of 4.5V to 36V power supply, it provides up to 0.6A per bridge.
