This is optocouplers are general-purpose consisting of an infrared LEDat the input optically connected to the photosensitive transistor output. The difference between these optocouplers from each other lies in the arms isolation voltage, which is 2.5kv (4N25) and 1.5kv (4N26)respectively. The main purpose of this electronic device is to transfer electrical signals between circuits with different potentials and impedances.
