74HC595 IC
The 74HC595 IC has 8 bit serial input with 8 bit serial or parallel output. IT ha storage register with 3 state outputs. It is used in serial to parallel data conversion, remote control holding register, network switches, led display and many more. The shift register clock and the storage register clock are positive edge triggered. The shift register is always one clock pulse ahead of the storage register is both the clock are connected together.
