Arduino Mega2560 is fitted with the ATMEGA16U2 chip which is an open source program. The power source is selected automatically either from USB connection or external power supply. The ATmega2560 has 256 KB of flash memory for storing code . It contains automatic reset software inbuilt with stronger reset circuit.
