Sharp Distance Sensor  2y0a02 is a distance measuring sensor unit. This sensor is great for sensing objects up to 5 feet away. It can be used for touch-less switch, sensor for energy saving, for detection of human body. It can also find the distance to objects that present a very narrow edge, It has Infrared Proximity Sensor and can measure  the distance form 20 cm to 150 cm .
