Hall Effect Sensor are used to detect the presence of magnet and are designed to detect continuous variations in the magnetic fields and convert fields strength to a proportional voltage. The device includes an on-chip Hall voltage generator for magnetic sensing, a comparator that amplifies the Hall voltage this same principle can be used to make a speedometer for a bike or any other vehicle.
