Himalayan Solution Academy - Robotics and Electronics Workshop for Students
Himalayan Solution has recently started its academic section named Himalayan Solution Academy with the motive to provide a basic knowledge about electronics and robotics to interested ones organizing “Electronics and Robotics Workshop”. From which we provide the tranings and workshops for the school level as well as for college students to provide the innovative extracurricular activity in school and college.we believe that Electronics and Robotics keep them motivated towards innovation and science.
We have designed our workshop and trainings in such a way that school or college of Nepal can
- Include these robotics projects during their science exhibition
- Include robotics and electronics in schools or college ECA
- An agreement can be done with Himalayan Solution so that each year this workshop can be conducted and included in schools academic calendar
Purpose Behind the Himalayan Solution Academy
This workshop involves providing a basic knowledge of electronics and robotics to the students of secondary level students. The goal is to demonstrate the students through examples how electronics and robotics are changing today’s world. This has been done by designing a syllabus which will aid on the smooth conduction of this workshop. The activities and projects for students, time, cost and other mutual help and understanding between the school authority and Himalayan Solution.
We have strong belive that electronics and robotics can be included as a new dimension to the ECA (Extra
Curricular Activities). The use of electronics makes us possible to access our physical environment and who knows a student with an idea can change the world. As well as, the main target of this program is school students’ basically secondary level students. Therefore, we have designed a syllabus for the systematic learning and teaching process.
Reason to Develop Workshop Course for Students
We are surrounded by electronics everywhere and our kids are absorbed by electronics devices like smartphones and tabs. But how do they work? Do they care and understand? Not really. Each year there is a science exhibition held in various schools of Kathmandu valley but there seems to be lack of innovation. There’s a trend everyone is following. For example
if one of the project (let’s say Drone these days) in any school looks cool every other school try and imitate that. There is no sustainable program of workshop and training regarding robotics and electronics. Some new groups of people organize it for some period of time and after that they are gone.
The conduction of the workshop will definitely instigate a spark of interest towards electronics and robotics. We hope that they will come out their own innovative ideas during the science exhibition of the school. But this workshop is not enough, we have to build up a culture in school to promote STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Management).
