The DM556 is a high-performance digital stepper motor driver designed to control 2-phase stepper motors with high precision, smooth motion, and reliable torque output. It uses advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) control technology, which significantly reduces motor vibration, noise, and heat compared to traditional analog drivers.
The driver operates on a wide DC voltage range of 20–50V and supports an adjustable output current from 1.0A to 5.6A, making it suitable for medium to high-power stepper motors such as NEMA 23 and some NEMA 34 motors. Current and microstep resolution can be easily configured using onboard DIP switches, allowing flexible setup based on motor specifications and application needs.
The DM556 supports a wide range of microstepping
